Daffodils mark the beginning of springtime with their sunny blossoms.  Daffodils are cheery and a little silly flowers.  So I captured their whimsical nature in a painting.  I added happy blue fish swimming among the daffodils and tulips.  Plunging into the depths of their stalks to see the shells down below.  Explore the "Depth of Gardening": it will make you smile.

You can see more of my paintings at Pilates with Fe and the Long House Studio Gallery in Oregon City, or the Providence Hospital Gallery in Milwaukie, Oregon.  Not in the Oregon area?  Click on the Yessy connection below to buy one of my works.  Take a look today!  To see my other paintings, click on my gallery tab above.  Selected works can be viewed and purchased at my "Yessy" site.

My third Spirit Flower painting is dogwoods.  If Daffodils are silly, dogwoods are the mysterious, magical wood sprite flower!  What kind of creature would live among the dogwoods?  For a preview, please join me in my art journey through my blog.  I share my thoughts, techniques, and general life philosophy as I paint my way through my days.
