The northwest oceans have their own beauty. I love seeing the waves brushing up against the rocks along the forested shore. I lived in Alaska for twenty years and never tired of the shoreline. I added the far distant mountains which always have snow. But I wanted to have people in my scene so painted in a little fishing boat coming come around the bend.
If you have every walked along the NW shoreline and looked for crabs and sea anemones in the tidal pools, you'll love this original oil painting.
